Ok, you caught me. It’s actually day three (I think), but its only 2 am, so it still feels like the day before.

So, how am I going you ask? Rather well actually… well, there was an incident last night, and i knew it was coming. Everything was going very smoothly, until it was time for another nap. I had school the next day, and I need to leave at about 8 or so to actually get there. Because of this I needed to move back my actual nap time to compensate for this, so I decided to take a nap at 4:00 instead of 5:00. Set the alarm, got woken up by it too. Thats when I cracked. I was tired now. “Just another hour” I said, set the alarm for an hour, and fell asleep. Didn’t wake up till 7:30, and felt completely wrecked… It got far better during the day (also because I found out that I got the top yr 12 IT mark for the year, woo!).

But I realised how good it is to have lots of time. This is the no 1 reason of why I am actually doing this, to gain extra time. I am always complaining about a lack of time in which to do things. Sure, I procrastinate a lot on my work, but now I have no excuse. Also, when you get bored, you get tired, and when you get tired, you sleep. I find that I can actually keep going a lot easier if i keep working, because I dont get bored of work. I dont want to do it, but if there isn’t anything else to do, I might as well.

I am already noticing the amount of time that I have, and its awesome. Ive gotten drafts done of nearly all my assignments, and I’ve done all my work after 10pm.

As for how I am feeling, mentally 7/10, physically 6/10, emotionally 9/10. I’m really damn motivated right now, and I am enjoying the quiet and peace of the household in the early early morning. Perhaps I will turn into a hermit? Probably not. My cousin is now going to try some form of polyphasic sleep. He plans on some strange form of Dymoxian, but I might be able to drag him into Uberman.

So yeah, all good on all fronts so far… and some food for thought too:

Uberman at maximum efficiency = 2 hours per day

Monophasic at maximum efficiency = 5 hours per day

Monophasic regularly = 7 – 9 hours

At very best you about gain:

7 hours a day

49 hours a week

98 hours a fortnight

196 hours a month

1,176 hours a half year

2,352 hours a year

23,520 hours every 10 years

Which is about:

2 days per week

4 days per fortnight

8.1 days a month

49 days a half year

98 days a year

980 days every 10 years = 2.72 years!

Doesn’t this motivate you? It sure motivates me =)
